Seeking Roommate for Danforth Apartment/Loft
The Location: On Danforth; near Greenwood station.
The Room: Master bedroom.
Price: $800 + shared utilities
The room is available June 1st and a one year lease is required. I’ll be available to show you the apartment whenever with notice.
My roommate and I have been living in this loft located above a restaurant for almost a year now. The time has come for my roommate to move as she got a job further west. She’s a high roller now; I, however, am looking to stay here, as I love the space and area!
Located above what is currently an Ethiopian restaurant (soon to be an Italian restaurant), at Greenwood and Danforth. It’s about a 30 second walk from Greenwood Station!
The loft itself is approximately 1000sq feet. The room that will be available is the master bedroom and is attached to the bathroom (shared and with duel entrances). The master bedroom is pretty darn big (approx. 12x14 sq feet). A mirrored closet takes an entire wall (A GIRL’S DREAM!!!). Plus, the window faces Danforth Avenue, which is never too loud.
Aside from the bedroom, the loft also includes a kitchen/living room area equipped with a sweet entertainment suite (provided by me). And, according to me, the icing on the cake is the modest balcony in the rear that faces an alley (great for summer drinking).
Your Future Roommate:
20-something Ryerson graduate who travels a lot for work. You’ll in fact get the apartment all to yourself for 1-2 months in the summer, as I’ll be out of country—Sweet deal! I’m no stickler; I respect privacy; I’m just easy going and I enjoy the simple things! I could walk through the apartment in the dark, blindfolded— and lay my hand on any object without fumbling. There’s an orthographic symmetry to my dwelling space. Ergonomic common-sense. It has little to no clutter. My bedroom though, that’s another story. It’s an obstacle that’s cramping my style in non-metaphorical ways… but I digress.
Anyway, I’m easy to talk to, and our convos will probably be how knitting is a boon to creativity.
Preferably female within similar age range (I’ve only ever had female roommates). Please be a clean person (I like to keep the place tidy). Preferably a non-smoker (I have recently decided to quit). Students are welcome. I don’t mind hosting the occasional party (that’s what my sound system is for), but I don’t want to be cleaning up beer bottles every weekend. And please, no regular guests (by regular I mean every.other.day )
Message me for more details and with a little bit about yourself.
